When (ddori = string – like of a kite) attention (lapatt-i rahi = clinging) is fixed (sang-i) on (chranah) feet/in obedience to God, all (bhram = delusion) transgressions and resultant (bhai) fears (khaad = eaten) end.
(Jan = servants) devotees of the Almighty (keeaa) make (eyk-u) the One Almighty (adhaar-u) the mainstay, i.e. live by Divine virtues and commands, and do not (bhramaad = wander) go through (jon-i) life forms, i.e. are not born (bahur-i) again, says fifth Nanak. 2. 94. 117.
